Background
Baan Than Namthip School locates at Village No 10, Thung Saliam District, Sukhothai Province (North of Thailand) established in 1977 by the cooperation of communities in that area, later it was transferred to under supervision by the Education Department. Currently the school is open for classes from kindergarten to primary grade 6. There are 66 students and 4 teachers, Ms. Janphen Subpracha is the head teacher. This school is small and locates 45 km away from the office of Sukhothai Education Zone.

Learning and Teaching
Due to be a small school with limit numbers of students and lack of support from the state on the budget, therefore there is an impact on the development of school, especially the technical promotion, short of learning tools and modern teaching aids which is direct affect in motivating the students in learning process and development, skills of the students. The school needs the computers and the books in library. This is the way to enhancing the long term learning process and encouraging the students learning to higher education.

Our Activity
On Friday 12th January, 2007, GTO team lead by Khun Ashley ,Khun Somboon, Khun Attabhon and I ,Raphathorn, had a chance to participate the good activity and donated the library’s books and 5 computers as School requested. Not only the above mentioned things we donated, but also the other essential school supplies such as the back-pack school bags, drawing books, shoes, and sweets. They are very happy and so are we.

My opinion
The thing we received besides we all were happy to donate the education supplies, our activity as giving an opportunity for these children by supporting the long term education, particularly support the long term learning is most significant in present society.
If it‘s possible I would continue to do such good activity for the poor or needed children, I would give help no matter what forms or to assist in public relation to the benefactor.
Finally, I would appreciate and many thanks to Standard Chartered Bank and B.C.T.F.N
