Saengsawan, is an orphanage in Nakhon Sawan, its name translates as Bright Light but has the implied meaning of ‘Hope for the Future”.
December 2009 evolved as a particularly stressful month for our Baan Piranan project.
BCTFN is a fund-raising organisation for Thai charities in Thailand. It is British inspired but is supported by many other nationalities. The main fund-raising event for BCTFN is Ploenchit Fair, an annual charity event held in Bangkok.

The Rural Area Medical Aid Foundation (RAMA) is a Charity under the Royal Patronage of His Majesty the King. So far, 52 provinces and 232,624 patients.
On one of their bi-annual visits, a PECF team of ophthalmic surgeons & nurses etc comes to Mae Ai Hospital (Chiang Mai) covering a wide surrounding area, including many isolated hill tribes.
