BCTFN is a fund-raising organisation for Thai charities in Thailand. It is British inspired but is supported by many other nationalities. The main fund-raising event for BCTFN is Ploenchit Fair, an annual charity event held in Bangkok.
"We are volunteers" is the cry from the army of people who have helped put on Ploenchit Fair - an army of 2000, plus! It takes months of
planning, more meetings than are healthy for human beings, enormous logistical issues and the consumption of thousands of cups of tea, and coffee, and ...... Is it worth it? Every volunteer cries YES! with a hearty, enhtusiastic cheer - and it's all for charity.
